Highlights from the 2020 Garden Tour
Thanks to the more than 600 garden lovers for coming out to take part in the socially-distant, masked-up and drama-free 2020 Garden Tour on Saturday, November 7. We’d like to thank eventgoers for carefully navigating the self-guided tour with care and grace, and our homeowners for graciously opening their doors and backyards to strangers. Here are some of the photo and video highlights from Saturday’s event.
Arcadia Classic
This charming Arcadia ranch house’s corner lot provides generous street-facing gardening opportunities. Clayton Miller from Greey|Pickett explains the intimate aesthetic of the backyard. Read more about this home in the November issue of Phoenix Home & Garden.
Refined Ranch
Lush and resortlike, this landscape is formal in its design but has a relaxed vibe thanks to its soft and lovely plant palette. Harrison Hoffman from Refined Gardens shows us how this garden makes one feel as though they have entered a private sanctuary.
Photo Gallery
Pictures from the five private gardens featured on this year’s tour.
Family Enclave
This garden was designed with both adults and kids in mind. Chad Norris from High Desert Designs walks us through his vision on the natural desert layout with a sparkling pool as the centerpiece of the backyard.
Backyard Oasis
What was originally a large unremarkable yard has been transformed into an inviting landscape with the addition of sun-loving cacti, succulents and blooming spots of perennial color. John Drew with High Desert Designs reimagined the entertaining areas of this backyard to make this home a destination for large and small gatherings.
