No other design award in Arizona matches the prestige of Phoenix Home & Garden Honors. For more than four decades, PH&G has celebrated the Southwest’s most visionary architects, designers, builders and landscape professionals—championing design excellence since 1980.
RESIDENTIAL DESIGN
Celebrates homes that achieve harmony across architecture, interior design and landscape. Projects should feel cohesive, luxurious and beautifully executed.
Original residential architecture that reflects creativity, style and client lifestyle.
Recognizes transformative renovations that elevate style, functionality and value. Before and after photos are required.
Functional, innovative and visually striking kitchens that serve as the heart of the home.
Luxurious, practical and visually compelling bathrooms designed for comfort and style.
Celebrates beautifully designed, functional and luxurious storage spaces. Entries should highlight layout, materials, custom features and innovative solutions.
Recognizing a career-defining project from an architect’s body of work. Projects completed between 2005-2015 are eligible and should exemplify enduring architectural design.
LANDSCAPE & OUTDOOR LIVING
Combines front and backyard landscaping with functional outdoor living elements such as patios, kitchens and other amenities. Recognizes creativity and seamless Arizona outdoor living.
Recognizes a career-defining project from a landscape designer or landscape architect’s portfolio. Recent photography of mature projects completed between 2005-2020 should exemplify lasting design impact and excellence.
Showstopping pools that are innovative, visually striking and integrated with their surrounding landscape.
COMMERCIAL
Public or commercial interiors and exteriors that combine functionality, brand identity and exceptional user experience. Includes office buildings, hotels, restaurants and retail spaces.
Our 2026 judging panel includes nationally recognized leaders in architecture, design and editorial excellence.

Submissions for the 2026 Phoenix Home & Garden Honor has closed.
Projects must be within the state of Arizona and completed between March 2024 and March 2026 (with exceptions noted above for Legacy Residential Project and Legacy Landscape Project categories). Entries previously submitted to or published in other Arizona-based awards or media are eligible. Previous “Honors” award winning entries are ineligible.
$200 for first entry
$175 for all subsequent entries
There is no limit. However, each project may be entered in no more than five categories. For consistency, please use the same project title for entries in multiple categories.
A brief 300-word description explaining why this project deserves recognition for each relevant category. Please write in complete sentences, not bullet points. Include relevant design principal information and credits, including first and last names, company names and websites/phone or emails (This information will not be visible to judges). Please ensure photos correspond with the category for which you are submitting. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.
Submit 1–7 professionally shot photos (JPEG or TIFF, 300 dpi, at least 2,000 pixels wide). Include photographer credit in the file name or description. Max 30MB per image. Renderings are not permitted. Projects that are poorly photographed may be disqualified.
All submissions are reviewed anonymously by an independent national panel. Judges’ decisions are final and will be announced in April 2026.
Winners will be featured in the June/July 2026 issue of Phoenix Home & Garden and across our digital and social media platforms. Each will receive a custom trophy and a marketing toolkit, including a branded badge and digital assets.
With each entry you must certify that you own complete rights for publication in print and online. Images and text from winning entries become the property of Cities West Media, which retains legal/publishing rights for editorial usage after close of submissions, including in our print publications, website and on social media and to promote future Phoenix Home & Garden Honors awards.
