Halloween Town 2024

If your young ones aren’t ready for a trip inside a haunted house, take them to this event designed for kids between 2 to 8 years old. There will be carnival games, a hay maze, kids’ activities, face painting and a pick-your-own pumpkin patch. Arizona State Fair

When the fairgrounds light up, Valley dwellers know that fall has finally arrived in Phoenix. But be sure to come prepared. Between the topsy-turvy carnival rides, corn dogs, fry bread and funnel cakes, you’ll need a strong stomach to make it through the night, especially if you want to catch The All-American Rejects, Big Time Rush, and Vanilla Ice at the Coliseum. Kierland Fine Art and Wine Festival

We Ain’t Ever Gonna Break Up: The Hymon & Parfunkel Musical

7th Annual Sunnyslope Studio Tour

Local art lovers worn out from the hustle and bustle of First Friday can go at their own pace on a self-guided tour of the unique galleries in the North Central Phoenix neighborhood of Sunnyslope. “Harry Fonseca: Transformations”

In the late 1970s, the late Nisenan Native American artist Harry Fonseca began his “Coyote” series. The main character in these works, seen as a “trickster” in Native American storytelling, is a metaphor for how one changes and defies society’s preconceived notions.
