Dr. Sara Vizcarra is a triple-board certified physician and a diplomate of the American Board of Craniofacial Pain, the American Board of Craniofacial Dental Sleep Medicine, and the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. Vizcarra, who graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, recognized that dental issues extend beyond the mouth. It led her to begin studying craniofacial pain and dental sleep medicine.

After completing several residencies treating patients with orofacial and TMJ disorders, Dr. Vizcarra opened AZ Sleep and TMJ Solutions to serve patients with sleep apnea symptoms, teeth grinding and clenching, gum recession, jaw and ear pain, or headaches. She also volunteers her expertise to help underserved patients in the United States and Central and South America. 

Dr. Vizcarra also owns Pinnacle Peak Family Dentistry and has been listed as PHOENIX magazine’s top dentist in 2018 and 2019 and the top TMD/Orofacial Pain doctor in 2018, 2019, 2022, and 2023.
