Tell us about Leicht and the Scottsdale showroom.

We opened our Scottsdale showroom in April 2023 after realizing the need for a luxury European brand that not only offered high-end features and finishes but also came with a better value than some of the existing competitors. We chose Scottsdale for our first location due to many strategic advantages including proximity to an affluent market with many high-end real estate and development projects, a vibrant design and lifestyle community and networking and collaboration abilities with other trade partners.

Tell us about what else you offer.

Though Leicht started with kitchens, we can furnish cabinetry and storage solutions for the entire home. This includes kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, offices, closets, mudrooms and entertainment centers. We also offer most of our finishes in various types of wall claddings to dress up and coordinate many areas throughout the home.

What design trends are you seeing emerge for kitchens and baths?

Some of our favorites include open shelving and glass display cabinets and the mixing of material types and textures with glass, aluminum, wood and stone. We also love smart technology, including integrated and concealed appliances, integrated lighting and automated opening mechanisms.

What’s one thing you always try to counsel clients on when they’re working with you to design a new kitchen or bathroom?

Too often designers run wild with the design and do not account for the budget from the start, resulting in designs the client can’t afford. With Leicht, we have eight different price groups of finishes, and therefore, a great ability to value-engineer and stay within budget.
