And now for something a little different. This home was originally owned by a reclusive, well-known artist, who, over the course of decades, created a wonderland embellished with mosaic pathways and sculpture collected from all over the globe. The dense, overgrown semi-tropical plantscape — which includes bamboo, mulberry trees, palms, roses and ferns — creates a microclimate that is nearly 12 degrees cooler than surrounding areas. Multiple outdoor destinations include fountains, ponds, bridges, pathways, swimming pools and a peacock enclosure, plus countless statues, vessels and architectural elements scattered throughout.
