Phoenix Fan Fusion

If you’re looking for your fan tribe, you’ll find it here. Comic book artists, voice performers and actors will be on hand for meet-and-greets, seminars and autographs. This experience also features gaming sessions, after-dark parties and, of course, cosplay fashion shows. This Is No Fairy Tale
“Ever After: The Musical”

The stage has welcomed countless fairy tale adaptations. But “Ever After: The Musical” offers audiences a fresh perspective. Unlike Rogers and Hammerstein’s version of “Cinderella,” this production is based on the beloved 1998 film starring Drew Barrymore about a young woman who challenges a prince and writes her own happy ending.

Ed Sheeran

Could Ed Sheeran go country? While other British pop artists have dipped their toes into Nashville’s melodic waters, the “Shape of You” singer believes he would have to immerse himself in the genre to get it right. He’s already planning a move to Tennessee, but he’ll first complete his world tour in support of his latest album, “Play,” which is making a stop in Glendale.

Tale As Old As Time

Do you love fireworks, but hate the heat? Here’s the good news: You can watch one of the state’s largest pyrotechnic displays from the cool comfort of your air-conditioned vehicle. Rope ’Em
World’s Oldest Rodeo
June 29-July 5
For nearly 140 years, the city of Prescott has hosted this event that shows audiences what cowboys do best: riding broncos, roping calves and wrestling steers. But this year, organizers will also be commemorating America’s birthday with the theme “Celebrating 250 Years of Freedom.” This family-friendly event will feature a parade, an arts and crafts fair, and a cowboy church.

Mellotron Art
Janet Cardiff & George Bures Miller: “The Instrument of Troubled Dreams”
Beginning June 13
Art has always been interactive in some way, but this installation by Canadian artists Janet Cardiff and George Bures Miller brings immersion to a whole new level. Guests can press any of the 72 keys on a modified Mellotron keyboard. Each one triggers a different auditory adventure, from the sounds of a carnival to a soldier rummaging through an apartment. Better keep your eyes and ears open.
