DESERT CABALLEROS WESTERN MUSEUM
A big museum in a small town, Desert Caballeros was founded in 1960 with a mission to inspire an appreciation of the art and history of the American West through creative exhibitions and educational programs that preserve the West’s cultural legacy. The museum chronicles the evolution of Wickenburg, from the gold mining days to the dude-ranching era with artifacts that reflect that, from mining tools and chuck wagons to quilts, rifles and Native American artifacts.
