“I love reflections,” says Melissa Valladares, who photographed our feature story, “Farm to Fable,” in this issue. “The pool is such a beautiful focal point from any room in the house. I was obsessed with the palm trees lining both sides, and the reflections they were creating were so beautiful. When I walk through a space, I let the light guide me. I want to capture not just the design and the landscape but also the feeling and emotion involved.”
