After a fire destroyed much of the original structure, this house was reborn and rose like a phoenix to celebrate its Sonoran Desert location. Drawing inspiration from architect Philip Johnson’s “Glass House,” this masterpiece commands attention with an 18-foot-high by 50-foot-wide square glass cube that intersects seamlessly with the home’s ranch footprint. With modern lines and timeless materials such as quartz, clay plaster, stucco and latilla, the residence remains firmly rooted in its desert environment, a testament to the enduring harmony between architecture and nature.
