This midcentury-style multilevel home required gardens that would complement its distinctive aesthetic and active family. The landscape design is modern with geometric lines; stone terraces draw out the linear nature of horizontal architectural details. Layered plantings in masses and drifts add softness; grassy backyard areas serve up an abundance of space for kids to play, and a corner of the backyard serves as a farm, with raised gardens providing fresh produce.
