Is Society Swan Scottsdale’s Most Stylish New Restaurant? Here’s Our Take

Now open at Scottsdale Fashion Square, Society Swan is a refined American brasserie by Fox Restaurant Concepts “where elegance, mischief and mood converge.”

Inspired by New York City’s famous “Swans”—the jet-setting, all-female circle of socialites who influenced Truman Capote’s work in the 1960s and ’70s—and by Paris’s Swan Island, the restaurant’s name is a cheeky nod to its transatlantic inspiration.

At the heart of the oh-so-chic Society Swan is a layered menu that celebrates the enduring connection between American and French culinary traditions.

The Space

“Society Swan is all about bringing a little glamour to everyday dining, but in a way that’s relaxed, fun and never fussy,” says restaurateur Sam Fox.

Spanning two levels, the swanky, upscale bistro blends East Coast elegance with Parisian charm. “Timeless style and graceful provocation” define the restaurant’s vibe. Moody interiors and dim lighting blur the line between day and night, making it an ideal setting for all-day lingering.

The Food

Society Swan’s culinary approach is best described as a curated blend of seafood-forward East Coast fare and classic French bistro favorites.

Standout dishes include the classic French steak frites, featuring a juicy wagyu skirt steak; the crisp, coastal-inspired fish and chips; and the entire fruits de mer (raw bar) selection—particularly the sweet, meaty stone crab and the grand seafood tower.

For something lighter, try the Waldorf Grain Bowl—a fresh, modern riff on the storied history that inspired Society Swan itself.

The Drinks

The bar program is carefully crafted, offering a robust wine list, “world famous” martinis and a lineup of classic and contemporary cocktails. We recommend the CIAO Brooklyn—made with bonded rye whiskey, a vermouth trio, toasted pecan and house bitters—or the Decadent Dirty, an elevated dirty martini accented with oyster and kaluga caviar.

The Hours

Located at 7014 E. Camelback Rd., Suite 559, Society Swan is open for lunch Monday–Friday from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. and Saturday–Sunday from 11 a.m.–4 p.m. Dinner is served Monday–Thursday and Sunday from 5–10 p.m., and Friday–Saturday from 5–11 p.m.

Happy Hour is offered Monday–Friday from 3–6 p.m. and features $10 martinis and glasses of wine, plus a selection of bites priced from $7 to $17. For more information or to make a reservation, visit societyswan.com.
