Finally, consider using bold, fun accent colors and shapes in everything from accessories to appliances.” Here are some ingredients to spice up your kitchen’s look.

Sub-Zero’s classic French door refrigerator/freezer not only has a split cooling system for freshness but also has smart features, such as Wi-Fi enabling, a touch-control panel and night mode lighting that detects ambient light, meaning you won’t get blinded when you raid the fridge at 2 a.m. 84″H by 38″W by 24″D. $13,700-$15,900 (
