Treasure Chest

Author: Roberta Landman
Issue: February, 2012, Page 52

Part of West Elm’s Stria Bedroom Collection, this honey-finish six-drawer dresser combines clean lines with a rustic sensibility—and a bit of history as well. Drawer fronts are made from solid reclaimed saal wood once used as railway trestles in India.

The wood’s natural imperfections lend the piece character, and mean that no two pieces are alike. With a frame constructed of solid mango and acacia woods, the dresser measures 56"W by 19.5"D by 33.75"H.

The collection also includes a three-drawer chest, nightstand, and a bed in full, queen and king sizes. See the dresser and other pieces at West Elm in Scottsdale, (480) 948-1950, or visit westelm.com.
