A Spritz of the Southwest

When New York-based designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez—the creative duo behind luxury womenswear label Proenza Schouler—ventured into the American Southwest on a road trip, they struck inspiration gold.

Drawing from the natural ambrosia of the desert, the pair created the brand’s first fine fragrance, aptly named, “Arizona.” Never before experienced in a perfume, the scent of white cactus flower takes center stage, while background notes of jasmine, orange blossom, cashmeran, and solar and orris accords enhance the mineral yet floral aroma. Housing the perfume is an equally inspired sculpted glass bottle that embodies the curving ravines and ridges of the Sonoran landscape, harmoniously balanced with the sharp, modernist lines of a glass stopper. $100/1.7 ounces and $130/3 ounces.
