Collapsible seat Based on one of Danish designer Ole Wanscher’s best-known works, the
Egyptian Folding Stool was inspired by the late visionary’s drawings of an ancient chair from Thebes housed in the Egyptian Museum in Berlin. Rounded folding legs and a supple leather seat add to the sensual nature of the design. Available in several wood and leather combinations, the piece can be found at Carl Hansen & Son, Scottsdale, carlhansen.com.

MOOD LIGHTing Fashion brand Diesel has ventured into the world of lighting by teaming up with Foscarini to create Metal Glass—light fixtures available in suspended and table lamp forms. The lights are “a pasty composition of glass, distinguished by a dense and almost opaque texture.” They come in an array of colors and shapes and are available at Central Arizona Supply, Phoenix, centralazsupply.com.
Piece Prize Tetris is an infamous member of the “Video Game Hall of Fame.” Designed in 1984, the puzzle’s simple shapes and rules have made it a hit among young and old alike. Inspired by the game, the Brave Space Design Tetrad Mega Shelving unit reworks Tetris’ iconic shapes into unique shelves for the home. Measuring 11" deep, they are made of walnut and ash and sold individually to encourage custom arrangements. Find them at designpublic.com.

In the clear If it’s not baroque, don’t fix it. Acclaimed designer Philippe Starck has redressed the classic Louis XVI Armchair in the most haunting of getups for Kartell, translating its geometric lines into a single form of translucent injection-molded polycarbonate. The Italian-made Louis Ghost Chair is suitable for indoor and outdoor use and is available at Design Within Reach, Scottsdale, dwr.com.
