Talk about a cool renovation! The transformation of a wine barrel into a pet bed is one of the cleverest examples of repurposing that I have seen. I can just picture a cat jumping on the top of the barrel to preen itself, and then curling up on the cushion for a nice, long nap. And when he awakes, he can check for intruders through the tiny peephole in the back, where a cork once was placed. This inspired design came from The Embellished House in Scottsdale, where everything old is new again. For more information, call (480) 991-2610.
