Makes 1 cocktail
1 ½ ounces reposado tequila ½ ounce Cointreau or other orange liqueur 1 ½ ounces fresh lime sour (made by combining 2 parts fresh lime juice with 1 part simple syrup) 1 ounce pear nectar or pear juice Pinch of freshly grated ginger Slice of fresh pear and candied ginger cube, for garnish
|  | | Photo by Werner Segarra | | | | Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass or cocktail shaker. Add enough ice cubes to chill and shake vigorously. Strain over cubed ice into a margarita glass. Garnish with a slice of pear and candied ginger cube. |
