COOL, THIRST-QUENCHING AND LOADED WITH ANTIOXIDANTS, ICED TEA PROVIDES THE IDEAL ENERGY BOOST ON A SUNNY DAY

1 Loose tea

When using loose tea to make iced tea, a pitcher such as the Bistro jug from Bodum makes the job easier, as it features a plastic tea filter and ice cube stopper. Souvia, a tea shop in Scottsdale, has an array of loose teas from which to choose. Its Angel’s Kiss is a green tea with the sweet tastes of papaya, pineapple, rose petals and strawberries.

3 Jones Organics
Jones Soda Co. now offers organic bottled iced teas, including the cherry-flavored white tea pictured.

Tazo’s aptly named “Juiced Tea” is made of a fruity mix of juices and iced tea. Featured is Brambleberry, an iced herbal option with apple and marionberry juices.

5 Numi
Numi’s organic blends boast 100-percent full leaf tea and freeze-dried fruit. Pictured is the company’s Citrus Black iced tea with lemon, lime and orange zest.

6 The Republic of Tea

The Scottsdale firm’s exotic Bombay Chai Spice iced black tea has the aroma of cloves, cardamom and cinnamon.
