1 pound whole natural raw almondsThe task of peeling almonds can take a little time, but it’s well worth it.
1. Bring 2 quarts of water to a boil over high heat.
2. When the water boils, add the almonds and boil for 5 minutes.
3. Drain and place in a bowl. Take one almond at a time and pinch it at the end. This will make the almond meat slip out of the skin. Aim the almonds into a bowl, as they can shoot pretty far.
